Ferry
To get to Ellis Island from Red Bank, start by heading towards the Red Bank train station. From there, take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. Get off at the Hoboken Terminal. Once you arrive at Hoboken Terminal, follow the signs to the PATH train station and take the PATH train to the World Trade Center station in Manhattan. After that, transfer to the 1 subway line at the World Trade Center station and take it to the South Ferry station. From South Ferry, walk to the Battery Park where you can catch the ferry to Ellis Island.

Begin your journey by walking to the Red Bank train station. Board the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train heading towards New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at New York Penn Station, transfer to the 1 subway line (downtown direction) and ride it to the South Ferry station. After disembarking, make your way to Battery Park where the ferries to Ellis Island depart.

From your current location in Red Bank, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop and take the bus that goes towards the Long Branch or Hoboken area. Get off at the bus terminal in Hoboken. From the bus terminal, walk to Hoboken Terminal and follow the same directions mentioned above to take the PATH train to the World Trade Center, then the 1 subway to South Ferry, and from there, walk to Battery Park for the ferry to Ellis Island.
