    From Bandelier National Monument, head south on NM-4 for about 11 miles. Turn left onto Old Buckman Rd. Continue on Old Buckman Rd for approximately 3 miles until you reach the Diablo Canyon Recreation Area. There is no entrance fee for this area.

    There is no direct public transportation to the Diablo Canyon Recreation Area from Bandelier National Monument. You will need to take a bus from Los Alamos to Santa Fe.
