Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards Old Buckman Road (NM-599) from your current location in Santa Fe National Forest. Look for signs directing you to NM-599. Once on NM-599, continue for about 5 miles. Take the exit for Old Buckman Road and merge onto Old Buckman Road. After approximately 1 mile, you will arrive at the Diablo Canyon Recreation Area, which will be on your left. The parking area is available for visitors.
