Continue on NY-9N S for about 14 miles until you reach the intersection with NY-86. Turn right onto NY-86 W and drive for about 7 miles. Then, turn left onto County Route 12 (also known as Jay Mountain Road) and follow this road for about 3 miles. The trailhead for Jay Mountain Wilderness will be on your left. Please note that parking is limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.
