From the Devonport Ferry Terminal, head south along Victoria Road. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Church Street. Turn left onto Church Street and follow it until you reach the end of the street. You'll see the entrance to the North Head Historic Reserve on your right. Enter the reserve and follow the walking path to Old Guns Never Die, which is located at the top of the North Head, featuring stunning views and historical significance.

From the Devonport Ferry Terminal, walk to the bus stop located at the corner of Victoria Road and Church Street. Board the bus route 804 towards Takapuna. Get off at the North Head Historic Reserve stop, which is about a 5-minute ride. From the bus stop, walk into the North Head Historic Reserve and follow the path to Old Guns Never Die.
