From the Devonport ferry terminal, head east on Victoria Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street and follow it until you reach the waterfront. The viewing spot for Rangitoto Island is along the coastline, near the Devonport Beach. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the harbor.

If you prefer using public transport, you can take the bus from Devonport centre. Catch the 804 or 810 bus towards Auckland City. Get off at the 'Devonport Village' stop and walk towards the waterfront. The viewing spot is a short 10-minute walk from there.
