Take the Metro bus number 29 from the central Christchurch Bus Interchange. The bus runs regularly and will take you towards Wigram. Get off at the 'Wigram - Harvard Ave' stop, which is close to the museum. From the bus stop, walk down Harvard Avenue for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Air Force Museum of New Zealand on your left.

Start at the Christchurch Tram Station located in the city center. Take the tram heading towards the 'Cathedral Junction'. Get off at the last stop, and then transfer to the Metro bus number 29 at the nearby bus stop. Board the bus towards Wigram and get off at the 'Wigram - Harvard Ave' stop. Walk down Harvard Avenue for about 5 minutes to reach the museum.

If you are staying in a nearby location, you can consider walking. From the city center, head southwest towards Barrington Street. Follow Barrington Street until you reach Wigram Road. Turn right onto Wigram Road and then left onto Harvard Avenue. Continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers, and you will find the Air Force Museum of New Zealand on your right. Be aware that this is a longer walk and may take approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
