Car
If you're driving from the center of Fox Glacier, head south on State Highway 6 towards Franz Josef Glacier. Continue for about 25 kilometers (approximately 30 minutes). Once you arrive in Franz Josef, look for signs directing you to Glacier Base. Turn onto Cron Street and follow it to the Glacier Base where you'll find Te Ao Marama at 63 Cron Street. There is parking available nearby.

Take the local shuttle bus from Fox Glacier to Franz Josef Glacier. The shuttle service typically runs several times a day and will drop you off in the center of Franz Josef. Once you arrive, walk towards Cron Street; it will be about a 10-minute walk. Follow Cron Street until you reach Te Ao Marama at 63 Cron Street, which is the Glacier Base where Franz Josef Glacier Guides operates.
