From the center of Fox Glacier, head south on State Highway 6 (SH6) towards Franz Josef. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers (about 30 minutes). Once you arrive in Franz Josef, turn left onto Cron Street. Franz Josef Glacier Guides is located at 63 Cron Street, directly at Te Ao Marama, Glacier Base. There is parking available nearby.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a shuttle bus from Fox Glacier to Franz Josef. Several companies operate this route, and the journey takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Make sure to check the schedules in advance, as they may vary. Once you arrive at Franz Josef, it’s a short walk down Cron Street to reach Franz Josef Glacier Guides at 63 Cron Street.

If you prefer walking and are starting from the center of Franz Josef, head south on Cron Street. The walk is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 15 to 20 minutes. Look for the signs directing you to the Glacier Base, where Franz Josef Glacier Guides is located.
