Walking
Start your journey at the Greymouth Visitor Centre located at 32 Mackay Street. From the Visitor Centre, head east on Mackay Street towards Tainui Street. Turn left onto Tainui Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Highway 6. Cross the highway with caution and walk along the designated pedestrian path heading north. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the Cobden Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Cobden Road. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will come to Ballance Street. Turn left onto Ballance Street and follow it for about 500 meters until you reach 40 Ballance Street, which is the starting point for the Coal Creek Track.
