Walking
Start your journey at the Greymouth Visitor Information Centre located at 32 Mawhera Quay. From there, head east on Mawhera Quay towards the Tainui Street intersection. Turn left onto Tainui Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Herbert Street. Turn right onto Herbert Street and follow it until it merges into State Highway 6 (also known as the Greymouth-Wellington Road). Continue walking along State Highway 6. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for the Point Elizabeth Walkway on your left, just past the intersection with McLeans Island Road. Follow the sign to the Point Elizabeth Walkway entrance, which will lead you to the lookout.

Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Greymouth. Start from the Greymouth Visitor Information Centre and head east on Mawhera Quay. Continue straight onto Tainui Street, then merge onto State Highway 6. Follow State Highway 6 for approximately 1 kilometer. Look for the sign for the Point Elizabeth Walkway on your left. Turn left into the walkway entrance and follow the path to the lookout point.
