If you are starting from the Kaikoura town center, head south on State Highway 1 (SH1). Walk along the main road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with The Esplanade. Turn right onto The Esplanade and continue walking for another 500 meters. Whale Way Station will be located on your left side, near the waterfront.
