Walking
If you are starting from the Wanaka town center, head west on Ardmore Street towards the lakefront. Continue along the lakefront until you reach the intersection with Helwick Street. Turn left onto Helwick Street and walk until you reach the junction with Wānaka-Mount Aspiring Road. Turn right onto Wānaka-Mount Aspiring Road and follow it for approximately 2 kilometers. You will then turn left onto West Wanaka Road. Wanaka River Journeys will be on your left after about 1 kilometer.

Bicycle
For a scenic ride, start in the Wanaka town center and head towards the lakefront. Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop if you do not have one. Ride along the lakefront path, enjoying the views, until you reach the intersection with Helwick Street. Turn left on Helwick Street and continue until you hit Wānaka-Mount Aspiring Road. Turn right and cycle for about 2 kilometers before turning left onto West Wanaka Road. Continue for about another kilometer, and Wanaka River Journeys will be on your left.
