Continue straight onto the main road, Marsden Road, and walk for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Russell Road. Cross over to Russell Road and follow it until you reach the ferry terminal in Paihia. Take the passenger ferry to Russell, which takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Russell, head towards the main street, and walk north along this road until you reach Flagstaff Hill Track. The entrance to the walking trail is well-marked, and you can follow the signs to reach the trailhead.
