Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Paihia, a popular town in the Bay of Islands. Head southwest on Marsden Road towards Puketona Road, then turn right onto Puketona Road. Continue straight until you reach State Highway 11. Turn left to merge onto SH11 and follow the signs towards Russell. After about 10 kilometers, take the ferry from Opua to Russell. The ferry operates regularly and costs around NZD 15 per car and NZD 2 per passenger. Once in Russell, drive along the main road until you reach Church Street. Christ Church will be on your left at 1 Church Street.

Public Transportation
To reach Christ Church by public transport, start at Paihia. You can take a local bus from Paihia to Opua. The bus journey costs approximately NZD 5. Upon arriving in Opua, board the ferry to Russell. The ferry fare is around NZD 15 for a return trip. Once you disembark in Russell, you can walk to Christ Church, which is about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Head south on the main street and turn left onto Church Street. Christ Church will be located at 1 Church Street.
