Car
From Punakaiki, head south on State Highway 6 towards Greymouth. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers. As you approach Greymouth, take the exit for Cobden. Once you exit, turn right onto Nelson Quay. Follow Nelson Quay for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the Cobden Aromahana Lagoon on your left. There is parking available nearby.

You can take a bus from Punakaiki to Greymouth. Look for the West Coast Shuttle service or a similar local bus service. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Greymouth, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Cobden Aromahana Lagoon. The taxi ride will take about 10 minutes. Ask the driver to take you to Nelson Quay in Cobden, and they will know the location.
