If you're driving from any location in Punakaiki, head east on State Highway 6. Continue for about 4 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to the Pororari River Track, which is located at 4300 State Highway 6. Look for the parking area on the right side of the road. There is no cost for parking.

Take a local bus service that operates between Greymouth and Punakaiki. You can catch the bus from various points in Punakaiki. Inform the driver you want to get off at the stop closest to the Pororari River Track. Once you disembark, walk back a short distance towards State Highway 6 and follow the directions as if you were driving. The walk from the bus stop to the track entrance will take about 10-15 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.

If you're already in Punakaiki and prefer to walk, head towards State Highway 6. From the Punakaiki Pancake Rocks, it is approximately a 35-40 minute walk.
