If you are driving from New Plymouth, head south on State Highway 3. Continue on this highway for about 50 kilometers until you reach Hāwera. As you arrive in Hāwera, take the exit onto Turuturu Road. Follow Turuturu Road for approximately 3 kilometers, and you will see the Turuturu Mokai Historic Reserve on your right at 205 Turuturu Road. Parking is available near the entrance.
