    If you are driving from New Plymouth, take State Highway 3 south. After approximately 45 minutes, you will reach the junction with State Highway 45. Turn left onto State Highway 45 and continue for about 15 minutes. Keep an eye out for Kaupokonui Heads Road on your left. Turn left onto Kaupokonui Heads Road and drive for about 5 minutes until you reach Kaupokonui Beach, located at 138 Kaupokonui Heads Road, Manaia 4612.
