Walking
From the center of Taupo, head towards the Taupo i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 30 Tongariro Street. From there, take the bus stop nearby for the 'Huka Falls' route. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the Huka Falls stop. Once you get off, walk approximately 15 minutes along the path heading towards Karetoto Road. You will see signs leading you to Huka Honey Hive at 65 Karetoto Road.

Cycling
If you have access to a bike, you can rent one from a local bike shop in Taupo. Start at the Taupo Marina on the waterfront. Follow the cycle path heading north along Lake Taupo until you reach the junction with Karetoto Road. Turn right onto Karetoto Road and continue cycling for about 10 minutes until you see the Huka Honey Hive on your left at 65 Karetoto Road.

Take the local bus service from Taupo's main street (Tongariro Street) towards Huka Falls. The bus runs every hour, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. After getting off at the Huka Falls stop, walk towards Karetoto Road, and follow the road for about 10 minutes until you reach Huka Honey Hive located at 65 Karetoto Road.
