If you are in the city center, head south on Stafford Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Queen Street. Turn left onto Queen Street and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. The Timaru Botanic Gardens will be on your right, just past the Parkside area.

From the Timaru Bus Interchange, take any bus heading towards the Parkside area. You can ask the bus driver to let you know when to get off for the Timaru Botanic Gardens. Once you disembark, walk a short distance east on Queen Street, and you will arrive at the gardens.
