Walking
If you are starting from the Wellington City Centre, walk towards Lambton Quay and head up the hill towards The Terrace. Continue straight onto Bowen Street, where you will find the entrance to the Wellington Botanic Garden. Follow the signs to the Garden, and once inside, proceed to the main paths. The Treehouse Visitor Centre is located at 101 Glenmore Street, Kelburn. You will reach it after a short 15-20 minute walk through the beautiful gardens.

Public Transport - Bus
From Wellington City Centre, head to the nearest bus stop and take bus number 1 or 2 towards Kelburn. Both buses will take you up to Upland Road. Get off at the stop on Upland Road and walk down Glenmore Street for about 5-10 minutes. The Treehouse Visitor Centre will be on your left at 101 Glenmore Street.

Public Transport - Cable Car & Walking
From the city, take the Wellington Cable Car from Lambton Quay to the Kelburn terminal. Once you exit the cable car, walk straight ahead into the Botanic Garden. Follow the signs to the Treehouse Visitor Centre, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the cable car station. The Visitor Centre is located at 101 Glenmore Street.
