Getting There

Walking
Start from the Whangarei Town Centre, head north along Bank Street until you reach the intersection with Kamo Road. Continue straight onto Kamo Road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will come to the intersection with State Highway 1. Cross at the pedestrian crossing and turn left onto State Highway 1. Walk for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the Te Kamo area. Look for the signs for Onoke Scenic Reserve. The entrance is located on the right side of the road, just a short walk from the highway.

From Whangarei Town Centre, take the bus route heading towards Kamo. The bus stop is located on Bank Street. Make sure to check the schedule for the correct bus times. After approximately 15-20 minutes, disembark at the Kamo stop. From there, walk along Kamo Road towards State Highway 1, and continue as per the walking directions to Onoke Scenic Reserve, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
