Walking
If you are starting from downtown Raleigh, head south on Fayetteville Street towards Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will see John Chavis Memorial Park on your left at 505 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
Public Transit (Bus)
From downtown Raleigh, locate the nearest bus stop for GoRaleigh transit. Take the bus route 11 or 15 heading towards the south. After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop for Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Walk a short distance (about 0.1 miles) south on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, and you will arrive at John Chavis Memorial Park.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from various bike-share stations available in downtown Raleigh. Start by heading south on Fayetteville Street and then turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Follow this road straight for about 0.5 miles. John Chavis Memorial Park will be on your left. There are bike racks available at the park for parking.
