Bicycle
If you're in downtown Raleigh, start by heading northeast on Fayetteville St towards City Plaza. Continue on Fayetteville St until you reach the intersection with New Bern Ave. Turn left onto New Bern Ave and follow it for about 2.5 miles until you reach the Neuse River Trail entrance at 1721 Riverview Rd. The trail is well marked and will lead you along the river.
Public Transit
From downtown Raleigh, take the GoRaleigh bus route 3, which heads towards the Neuse River area. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of New Bern Ave and Riverview Rd. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles along Riverview Rd until you reach the parking lot at 1721 Riverview Rd. The Neuse River Trail begins here.
Walking
If you are near the Raleigh City Market, start by walking east on Martin St toward Blount St. Continue straight and cross over to East New Bern Ave. Walk along New Bern Ave for about 2.5 miles until you reach Riverview Rd. Turn right onto Riverview Rd, and walk approximately 0.5 miles. The Neuse River Trail entrance will be on your left at 1721 Riverview Rd.
