From the Opera House, head west along the waterfront, following the path alongside the fjord. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Dronning Eufemias gate. Turn left onto Dronning Eufemias gate and continue straight. After a few minutes, you will see the impressive City Hall building ahead. Cross over the road to reach Rådhusplassen, where City Hall Square is located. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.

You can also take a tram to reach City Hall Square. Find the nearest tram stop in Sentrum (such as 'Stortorvet') and board tram number 12 towards Majorstuen or tram number 13 towards Bekkestua. Ride for 2 stops and get off at 'Nationaltheatret' station. From there, exit the tram and walk down the steps towards the fjord.
