Walking
If you are in downtown Hood River, start at the intersection of Oak Street and 2nd Street. Head south on Oak Street towards 1st Street, then turn left onto 1st Street. Continue walking east until you reach the intersection with Cascade Avenue (Hwy 30). Cross Cascade Avenue and continue straight. The road will turn into Country Club Road. Follow Country Club Road for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Air Museum Road. Turn right onto Air Museum Road, and you will find the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum (WAAAM) at 1600 Air Museum Rd. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes.

Bicycle
For those with bicycles, start at the Columbia River waterfront. Ride east along the waterfront path until you reach the intersection with Oak Street. Turn left onto Oak Street and continue until you reach 1st Street. Turn left on 1st Street and proceed to Cascade Avenue (Hwy 30). Cross Cascade Avenue and keep going straight. The road will turn into Country Club Road. Follow Country Club Road for about 1.5 miles. When you reach Air Museum Road, turn right. The museum will be on your left at 1600 Air Museum Rd. This ride should take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Transport
To reach WAAAM using public transportation, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Hood River. Catch the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus that heads towards the Eastside. You will need to transfer to another bus line at the Eastside Transit Center. From there, take the bus that goes towards the Hood River Airport. Get off at the stop closest to Air Museum Road. Walk north on Air Museum Road for about half a mile until you reach the museum at 1600 Air Museum Rd. Check the CAT schedule for the most up-to-date timings, as they may vary.
