Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Lakeview, the largest city in Lake County. Head northwest on US-395 N for about 120 miles until you reach the junction with OR-140 W. Take OR-140 W for approximately 50 miles until you see the exit for I-5 N toward Portland. Merge onto I-5 N and continue for about 90 miles. Take exit 44 for US-30 E toward Astoria. Follow US-30 E for about 30 miles until you reach NE Eagle Creek Loop in Cascade Locks. The Eagle Creek Trailhead will be on your right.

Public Transportation
Public transportation options to reach Eagle Creek Trailhead are limited. You can take a Greyhound bus from Lakeview to Portland and then use the TriMet public transit system to reach Cascade Locks. From Portland, take the MAX Yellow Line to the Expo Center, then transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which takes you directly to Cascade Locks. The bus runs on a schedule, so be sure to check the timing ahead of your trip. Once you arrive in Cascade Locks, you can either walk or take a taxi to NE Eagle Creek Loop.
