Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Lakeview, OR. Take OR-140 E for about 32 miles until you reach the junction with US-97 N. Merge onto US-97 N and continue for approximately 41 miles. When you reach Klamath Falls, take the exit onto OR-62 E towards Crater Lake. Follow OR-62 for about 37 miles until you reach the entrance to Crater Lake National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs for Vidae Falls, which is located about 8 miles from the entrance. There is a parking area available near the falls. Note that a vehicle entrance fee is required to enter the national park, which is $30 per vehicle valid for 7 days.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Lakeview to Klamath Falls. The bus service is provided by Greyhound or local transit options, but check the schedules in advance as they may vary. Upon arriving in Klamath Falls, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Crater Lake National Park. This leg of the journey will take about 1 hour and costs will vary based on the service used. After reaching the park entrance, you still need to pay the vehicle entrance fee as mentioned earlier. Once inside, follow signs to Vidae Falls.
