Start at the center of The Dalles, at the intersection of 1st St and Washington St. Head east on Washington St, continuing for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 3rd St. Turn left onto E 3rd St and walk for another 0.3 miles. This will lead you towards the Columbia River. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with E Port Marina Dr. Turn right onto E Port Marina Dr, and you will find the Port of Hood River at 1000 E Port Marina Dr.

From the downtown area of The Dalles, walk to the nearest bus stop at 2nd St and Union St. Take the Columbia Area Transit bus heading towards Hood River. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Hood River Transit Center.' From there, walk east along 1st St towards E Port Marina Dr, which is about a 15-minute walk. Continue straight until you reach the Port of Hood River at 1000 E Port Marina Dr.
