If you're traveling by car, start from Karimabad, the main town in Hunza Valley. Head south on the KKH (Karakoram Highway) towards Gilgit. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will reach the junction at Passu. Continue on the KKH for another 20 kilometers until you find the turn-off to Besal Ford (Water Crossing). The road will be less maintained, so proceed with caution. The GPS coordinates for Besal Ford are approximately 35.0400° N, 73.9366° E.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from Karimabad to Gilgit. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Besal Ford, which is about 40 kilometers from Karimabad. Once you reach the junction, you may need to negotiate a ride with a local taxi or a shared vehicle to reach the Besal Ford, as direct public transport is limited.
