Car
If you're traveling by car along the Karakoram Highway, head towards Gilgit. The Rakaposhi View Point is located approximately 25 kilometers from Gilgit city. Once you reach Gilgit, follow signs towards the Rakaposhi base camp and Nagar Valley. The drive will take about 30-40 minutes depending on road conditions. Look for a sign that indicates the Jutial area as you approach Nagar. There will be a small road branching off to the left that leads directly to the viewpoint. Make sure to take this turn and continue on the unpaved road for around 10 minutes until you reach the viewpoint. Be cautious as the road may be rough.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a local bus or a shared van from Gilgit to Nagar Valley. Buses leave frequently from the main bus stand in Gilgit. The fare is usually around 300 PKR per person. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at the Rakaposhi View Point. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the designated drop-off point in Nagar, you may need to hire a local jeep or walk the remaining distance to the viewpoint, which is about 5-7 kilometers. Hiring a jeep may cost around 1000-1500 PKR, depending on negotiation.
