Bus
From the center of Ica, head to the main bus terminal, which is located at Av. San Martin. Look for buses heading to Huacachina or the ones with signs that mention 'Oasis Huacachina'. The journey takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Be sure to pay attention to the bus schedules and confirm with the driver that they are going to Huacachina before boarding.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker and more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Ica. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Oasis Huacachina'. Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and are staying nearby, you can walk to Huacachina. Start from the Plaza de Armas in Ica, head southwest on Av. José de la Torre Ugarte, and continue straight. You will pass some local shops and eateries. After about 4 kilometers, you will reach Huacachina. This walk will take approximately 1 hour, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
