Car
From the center of Iquitos, head southeast on Av. José Quiñones towards Av. Progreso. Follow Av. Progreso, which turns into Av. La Marina. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Av. Ramón Castilla. Turn right onto Av. Ramón Castilla and follow it for about 5 km. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading to San Luis. Keep following the signs for San Luis, and you will find the entrance to the National Reserve Allpahuayo-Mishana just outside the town, approximately 15 km from Iquitos. Make sure to have a GPS or a map application handy to assist with navigation.

Public Transportation
To reach the National Reserve Allpahuayo-Mishana using public transportation, start by taking a mototaxi (local three-wheeled taxi) from your location in Iquitos to the main bus terminal. From there, look for a bus or minibus heading to San Luis. The fare should be around 3-5 soles. Once you arrive in San Luis, you can either walk towards the reserve or hire another mototaxi to take you the remaining distance (approximately 2 km) to the entrance of the reserve. Ensure you confirm the fare with the driver beforehand. The total travel time, including waiting for transport, could take around 1-2 hours.
