Getting There

Walking
From the main entrance of Machu Picchu, proceed straight along the main pathway towards the central plaza. As you walk, you'll see the iconic Inca architecture surrounding you. Continue walking until you reach the 'Intihuatana' (the ritual stone associated with astronomy). From there, take the path leading to the left, which will guide you towards the agricultural terraces. Follow the path upward through the terraces, enjoying the views as you go. After you reach the top of the terraces, turn right and walk towards the 'Temple of the Sun'. Continue past the temple, keeping an eye out for signs pointing to the various ruins. Eventually, you will reach a junction where you can either go left towards the 'Inca Bridge' or right. Take the right path, which will lead you towards the direction of Muro Inca. The trail will be well-marked, and you will gradually descend towards this lesser-known site, where you can explore the unique stone constructions.
