Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from San Pedro Market, exit the market and head west on Avenida de la Cultura. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Fancisco Bolognesi. Turn left onto this street and continue walking for another 5 minutes. You will eventually see the impressive Cathedral of Cusco on your right. Keep walking straight, and you will arrive at Plaza de Armas.

    Starting from the main bus station (Terminal Terrestre), exit the station and head towards Avenida de la Cultura. Walk along Avenida de la Cultura until you reach the intersection with Avenida el Sol. Turn left and continue straight for about 15 minutes. Look for signs indicating the Plaza de Armas, and as you approach, you will notice the Cathedral and other architectural highlights. The plaza will be right in front of you.

    If you are at the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), exit the site and head north on Avenida el Sol. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Plaza de Armas. You will see the Plaza on your left, marked by the grand Cathedral and surrounding colonial buildings.
