Getting There

  • Walking

    From the plaza in Puno (Plaza de Armas), head northeast on Avenida El Sol. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenida Costanera. Turn left onto Avenida Costanera, which will lead you toward the lakeshore. Keep walking along the waterfront until you reach Puerto de Puno, which is well-signposted and located at coordinates -15.835041, -70.014314.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    Start at the Plaza de Armas in Puno. Look for a local bus heading toward the lake or specifically to Puerto de Puno. Buses often depart from the main bus station or nearby stops.
