From Cascais train station, take the train towards Lisboa. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at Cais do Sodré station. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and walk towards the riverfront. After that, take tram 15E towards Algés and get off at the stop 'Cç. do Combro'. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the National Museum of Ancient Art at R. das Janelas Verdes.

If you prefer to walk, head to the Cascais train station and follow the coastal path towards Lisbon. The walk is scenic but long, taking about 1.5 to 2 hours. You will eventually reach the Cais do Sodré area. From there, follow the directions for tram 15E as mentioned above.
