If you are starting from the center of Chaves, make your way to Praça de Camões. From the square, head northwest on Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1º de Maio. Turn left onto Avenida 1º de Maio and walk until you see the large roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida 25 de Abril. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you see the entrance to Parque do Império. The Monumento aos Heróis de Chaves is located within the park, approximately 100 meters from the entrance.

You can take a local bus from the Chaves bus station. Look for the bus that heads towards Parque do Império. The journey will take around 10-15 minutes. Once you get off at the stop near the park entrance, walk straight for about 100 meters into the park where you will find the Monumento aos Heróis de Chaves.
