Walking
If you are starting from the city center (Praça do Comércio), head east on Rua Ferreira Borges toward Rua da Sofia. Continue straight until you reach the University of Coimbra, one of the main attractions. From the University, follow the signs to Rua da Alegria. Once you reach Rua da Alegria, turn left and proceed until you reach the intersection with Rua Santa Teresa. Turn right onto Rua Santa Teresa, and you will find the Carmel of Saint Teresa on your left at number 16.

From the city center, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is at Praça da República. Take bus number 34 toward 'Bencanta.' After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Santa Teresa.' Once you step off the bus, walk back along Rua Santa Teresa for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Carmel of Saint Teresa at number 16 on your left.
