Car
If you are driving from the center of Douro Valley, take the N-222 road towards Porto. Continue on this road for about 80 kilometers. Once you reach Porto, follow signs for 'Centro' and merge onto the A1 highway. Take exit 8 towards 'Boavista/Avenida da Boavista' and continue straight. After approximately 2 kilometers, turn left onto R. Dr. Alberto Aires de Gouveia. Your destination, Destino Fado, will be on the left at number 17.

Public Transportation
To reach Destino Fado using public transport, start by taking a train from Peso da Régua to Porto São Bento station. The journey takes around 2 hours. Once you arrive at Porto São Bento, exit the station and walk towards the metro station. Take the Metro Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at Casa da Música station. From there, you can either walk about 15 minutes to R. Dr. Alberto Aires de Gouveia or take bus number 200 or 201 from Casa da Música to the stop 'Avenida da Boavista'. Walk towards R. Dr. Alberto Aires de Gouveia, and your destination will be on your right.
