Walking
From the Braga city center, head towards Avenida da Liberdade. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the São Marcos Church. From there, continue straight onto Rua D. João IV. Follow this road for approximately 20 minutes until you arrive at the train station, Estação de Braga. Once at the station, take the train to Porto (the journey takes about 40 minutes). After arriving at Porto's Campanhã station, transfer to the metro (Line A or Line B) and get off at the Trindade station. From Trindade, walk towards Avenida dos Aliados, then turn right onto Rua de Alves Redol. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Praça de Parada Leitão, where the Estátua de Ramalho Ortigão is located.

Start at the Braga city center and head to the main bus stop located at Praça da República. Look for a bus that goes to Porto; there are several options available. The journey to Porto will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Porto bus terminal, walk towards the Trindade metro station. Take the metro Line A or Line B and get off at the Trindade stop. From Trindade, walk towards Avenida dos Aliados and turn right onto Rua de Alves Redol. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Praça de Parada Leitão, where the Estátua de Ramalho Ortigão can be found.

Make your way to the Braga train station located in the city center. Purchase a ticket for Porto and board the train heading to Porto. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Campanhã train station in Porto, transfer to the metro system. You can take Line A (Blue) or Line B (Red) towards the Trindade station. After getting off at Trindade, exit the station and walk towards Avenida dos Aliados. Then take a right onto Rua de Alves Redol.
