For travelers using public transportation, take a train to Lisbon from various towns in Estremadura, such as Sintra or Cascais. Trains run frequently and can cost between €2.50 and €5.00. Once in Lisbon, head to the Rossio train station and transfer to the metro. Take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré and transfer to the Santa Apolónia station. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Largo de São Miguel. Follow the signs towards Alfama, and you will find the church easily.

You can also take a bus from various locations in Estremadura to Lisbon. The Rede Expressos and other regional buses operate services to Lisbon, with prices ranging from €5.00 to €10.00. Once you arrive at the Sete Rios bus terminal, take the metro (Blue Line) to the Baixa-Chiado station, then transfer to the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré and get off at Santa Apolónia. The church is a 15-minute walk from the station. Look for the signs leading to Alfama.
