If you're driving to Forte de Santo António da Barra in Estoril, start by getting on the A5 highway from any point in Estremadura. Follow signs for Cascais and continue on the A5 until you reach the exit for Estoril. Take the exit towards Estoril and merge onto the N247 road. Continue straight and then turn left onto Av. Marginal. The fortress will be on your right at Av. Marginal 73. There's street parking available nearby, but be aware of local parking regulations.

To reach Forte de Santo António da Barra using public transportation, take the train from Lisbon to Cascais. The trains run frequently from Cais do Sodré station. Once you arrive at Cascais station, exit and head to the bus terminal located just outside. Take the bus number 405 or 417 towards Estoril. Get off at the stop named 'Estoril - Avenida Marginal'. From there, walk along Av. Marginal for about 10 minutes, and you will find the fortress at Av. Marginal 73.
