Walking
From the center of Guimarães, start at Praça de Santiago. Head north on Rua de Santiago until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua de São Paulo. Continue straight, and you'll pass by the Historic Center of Guimarães. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach the Guimarães train station. From there, take a train to Porto. The train ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Porto São Bento station, exit the station and head towards Avenida dos Aliados. Walk along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Rua de Miragaia. Turn left onto Rua de Miragaia, and Fado Maior do Porto will be on your right at number 54.

Start at the main bus terminal in Guimarães, which is located near the city center. Take the bus number 22 towards Porto. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes, and it will drop you off at the Campo 24 de Agosto stop in Porto. From there, walk straight towards Rua de Miragaia, which is about a 15-minute walk. Turn left onto Rua de Miragaia, and Fado Maior do Porto will be on your right at number 54.
