Walking
From the Guimarães city center, head towards the bus station located at Avenida Dom João IV. Once there, take the bus line 1 or 2 heading towards Vila Nova de Gaia. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Madalena' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight down R. do Mar for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Praia da Madalena at R. do Mar 450.

Public Transport
Start at the Guimarães train station and take a train to Porto São Bento station. Upon arrival, exit the station and find the metro station nearby. Take the metro on the A line (Blue line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at the 'Casa da Música' station and transfer to Line D (Yellow line) towards Hospital de São João. Get off at 'João de Deus' station. From there, take bus line 906 towards 'Madalena' and disembark at the 'Madalena' stop. Walk down R. do Mar for about 10 minutes to reach Praia da Madalena.
