Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the Douro Valley, take the A24 highway towards Porto. The drive will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach Porto, follow the signs to the city center and then to R. do Passeio Alegre. Use a GPS or a navigation app to guide you to the exact address: R. do Passeio Alegre 704, 4150-573 Porto. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to park a short walk away.

• Train + Walking

  Take a train from Peso da Régua or another nearby Douro Valley town to São Bento Station in Porto. The train journey takes about 2 hours. From São Bento, exit the station and head towards the Metro do Porto. You can take the Metro Line A (Blue Line) to the Casa da Música station. From Casa da Música, it's a 20-minute walk to Lago dos Meninos do Passeio Alegre. Follow Av. da Boavista towards the river, then turn left onto R. do Passeio Alegre until you reach your destination.

• Bus + Walking

  Take a bus from a nearby Douro Valley town (like Peso da Régua) to Porto, which takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Porto, you can take the Metro Line A (Blue Line) from the nearest stop to the bus terminal to Casa da Música station. From there, it's a 20-minute walk to Lago dos Meninos do Passeio Alegre. Head down Av. da Boavista and turn left onto R. do Passeio Alegre until you arrive at the address.
