Getting There

Metro
Start at the nearest metro station, which is 'São Bento'. Take the metro line D (the yellow line) towards 'Hospital de São João'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Câmara de Gaia'. Once you exit the station, head towards the river. You will see the Douro River in front of you. Turn left and walk along the riverbank. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach R. da Fonte Nova. Churchill's Lodge will be on your right at number 5.

Bus
From 'Aliados' Square, take bus number 500 towards 'Cais de Gaia'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Cais de Gaia' stop. From there, walk along the riverfront towards the east for about 10 minutes. You will reach R. da Fonte Nova. Churchill's Lodge is located at number 5 on your right.

If you are near the Ribeira area, you can walk to Churchill's Lodge. Start at the Ribeira Square and walk east along the riverfront towards the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge on the upper level, and once you are on the other side, follow the road downwards towards the river. Continue walking along the river until you reach R. da Fonte Nova. Churchill's Lodge will be located at number 5 on your left.
