If you are starting from the historic Ribeira district, head towards the Douro River. Walk along the riverfront promenade, taking in the beautiful views of the river and the Dom Luís I Bridge. Continue walking until you reach Praça Ribeira, where you will find Fonte do Cubo. The sculpture is located centrally in the square and is easily recognizable.

If you are at São Bento Train Station, exit the station and head towards Avenida dos Aliados. From there, catch tram line 1 (the historic tram) towards Infante. Get off at the 'Ribeira' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight towards the river and you will arrive at Praça Ribeira, where Fonte do Cubo is located.

From the Livraria Lello (a famous bookstore), exit and head down Rua das Carmelitas. Continue straight until you reach Rua de Santa Catarina, then turn left. Walk until you reach Praça da Ribeira. Fonte do Cubo will be in the square, surrounded by cafes and restaurants.

Metro and Walking
If you are near the Casa da Música metro station, take the metro line A (blue line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Transfer at Trindade Station to line D (yellow line) towards Santo Ovidio. Get off at the 'São Bento' station. From there, it’s a short walk to Praça Ribeira. Follow the signs to the river, and you will find Fonte do Cubo in the square.
