From Serra de Sintra, take the N247 road heading towards Lisbon. Merge onto the A16 highway and follow the signs for Lisbon. Continue on the A2 and take the exit towards Almada/Lisboa. Merge onto the 2ª Circular and follow the signs for Alvalade. Exit onto the E1 towards Lisbon. Once in central Lisbon, follow signs for Alfama. Use GPS or a navigation app to direct you to 'Alfama, 1100-117 Lisbon'. There is street parking available, but it can be limited, so consider parking in a nearby garage.

Public Transportation
From Serra de Sintra, take the Sintra train from Sintra Station to Rossio Station in Lisbon. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rossio Station, exit the station and walk to the Rossio Square. From there, take the tram 28E towards Martim Moniz. Get off at the 'São Miguel' stop. You will be very close to the Escadinhas de São Miguel. Follow the signs or ask for directions as you walk through the charming streets of Alfama.
