If you are at the Viana do Castelo train station, exit the station and head southeast on Rua de Santo António. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Follow this road for about 500 meters until you reach the next roundabout. From there, take the second exit onto Rua do Comércio, and continue straight until you reach Largo de São Domingos. The Igreja de São Domingos will be on your right at Largo de São Domingos 19.

If you are starting from Praça da República, head southwest on Rua da Misericórdia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Domingos. Turn left onto Rua de São Domingos and follow it until you reach Largo de São Domingos. The Igreja de São Domingos will be directly in front of you.

From the Viana do Castelo bus station, take any local bus that heads towards the city center. Get off at the stop nearest to Praça da República. From there, walk southwest on Rua da Misericórdia, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Domingos.
